Impotence and premature ejaculation are common symptoms associated with premenstrual bleeding, but here we need to correct a concept. Impotence and premature ejaculation are not caused by chronic premenstrual bleeding. Therefore, many people still have problems with impotence and premature ejaculation after the symptoms of chronic premenstrual bleeding disappear. In other words, people with impotence and premature ejaculation problems do not necessarily have symptoms of chronic premenstrual bleeding.
In previous articles, I mentioned that the cause of chronic premenstrual bleeding involves the comprehensive pathogenesis of the spleen, stomach, liver, and kidney. This comprehensive pathogenesis also causes a variety of health problems including chronic premenstrual bleeding, impotence and premature ejaculation. In the process of treating chronic premenstrual bleeding, frequent urination and pain may be the first to be relieved and cured. However, impotence and premature ejaculation may continue to linger. This is because the comprehensive causes of the spleen, stomach, kidney, and liver have not been cured.
Regarding the problem of impotence, Western medicine believes that in addition to organic lesions, more than 80% are psychological reasons. In the general perception of the Chinese, when impotence occurs, the kidney must be nourished. In fact, the vast majority of the causes of impotence are in the liver. Generally, we know that if a person has long-term depression and high stress, liver depression will occur. Therefore, the psychological problems that Western medicine believes are in traditional Chinese medicine are indeed closely related to the liver. Among the five internal organs in traditional Chinese medicine, the kidney governs water and bones, while the liver belongs to wood and governs tendons. Kidney water generates liver wood, so tendons are born from bones. The Jueyin liver meridian runs from the head of the foot, along the inner side of the dorsum of the foot, up to the leg, into the pubic hair, and around the genitals. Therefore, the genitals are the place where the liver meridian converges, and the size and strength of its erection are closely related to the liver meridian.
Some famous old Chinese medicine practitioners in China are very experienced in treating impotence. In the medical records and questions and answers of some Chinese medicine masters such as Liu Duzhou and Jiang Erxun, it can be seen that the treatment of impotence is mostly in the liver. Generally, prescriptions are mostly used to relieve liver depression and warm yang and dredge collaterals.
For patients with chronic prostatitis, in addition to personal physical problems, most of them are caused by bad living habits and excessive sexual life. All these problems can be attributed to the cause of kidney yang deficiency. Patients with chronic prostatitis also gradually develop from premature ejaculation to impotence because of the long-term uncured condition. They can’t get hard and can’t last long. After a long time, it develops into impotence.
Kidney yang deficiency is the root cause, spleen deficiency is the development cause, and liver depression is the further development cause. The dampness and heat in the lower part of the body that patients often talk about when they go to the hospital is just the external manifestation caused by the cause. Therefore, medicinal dehumidification and heat clearing are just to stop the boiling, and the symptoms cannot be cured. This is also the reason why doctors tell patients that this disease cannot be cured, but can only be alleviated. It is only a superficial treatment, not a fundamental treatment.
